A couple things.
First, the tickets for our first documentary, ‘The Art Spirit – The Story of Pat Witt and the Barn Studio of Art’ are now on sale. The premiere is September 18th at the Levoy Theater in Millville. You can purchase tickets from the Levoy Theater website or from the Noyes Museum of Art or the Barn Studio of Art. We are very excited about this event which will also include a gallery exhibit in the upstairs mezzanine as well as a silent auction. We will also be presenting a five minute music video featuring the Bay Atlantic Symphony. All this for twenty dollars. And part of the proceeds will benefit The Barn Studio of Art as well as ArtC. Your support for this is important. We want documentary premieres to be a regular thing for ArtC. The videos will be about thitry five minutes total followed by the gallery exhibit.
August 2nd, ArtC will meet with Nicholas Paleologos, the new executive director of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and on August 3rd with the producers of State of the Arts. We have ideas. Wish us luck.
Last week, ArtC”s Frank Weiss sat down for a few beers with artist Victor Grasso to discuss his show at SOMA newArt Gallery in Cape May that opens this week. It was to film and Frank bought me a beer. Nice.
Also on August 18th is the opening reception of the ArtC curated exhibit at the William Ris Gallery in Stone Harbor featuring the works of sculptor Katherine Stanek and the paintings of Robert Milnazik. It’s from 5-8 pm. Hope to see everyone there.
Thanks for listening.
