A Day in the Life of ArtC

A Day in the Life of ArtC

ArtC has been busy. That’s a good thing. Yesterday, August 22nd, was a good example of that.
8 am – ArtC filmed scupltor Jose Chora as he placed his commissioned sculptures in front of AtlantiCare’s corporate office in Egg Harbor Township. This will be part of a short video ArtC has been hired to do for the AtlantiCare Foundation.

10 am – ArtC launched its website for Atlantic City’s AC Waterfront Sculpture Walk @ http://artcnow.com/acwsw/. Still needs some tweaking but definitely worth checking out. The video looks great full screen.

1 pm – ArtC met with artist Victor Grasso at his North Cape May studio to discuss the documentary we are doing on him. Artist and art teacher Frank Kallop will be doing the interview and ArtC’s Frank Weiss will be directing. This one will certainly be different and we are excited about it. Filming starts next week. 5:30 pm – ArtC attended a meeting of the Atlantic City Boardwalk Art Show advisory committee. As a member of that committee, ArtC will be creating a slide show for the preview event at Dante Hall and also documenting the show itself.

8 pm – ArtC went to photographer Paul Dempsey’s open house at his studio in Galloway. Paul was displaying the best of his previous year’s work. Besides Paul’s exceptional work, there was also great food and music as well as a diverse and interesting crowd. L-R Alex Anton, Paul Dempsey, Sean Fitzgerald

More to come. Thanks for listening.
